How do I play movies purchased through iTunes and stored on my Apollo Cloud on iOS devices?  When I try opening them on the Apollo App I'm told the app is not authorized to play this file type (m4v)?  Thanks!

Hi Bryan,

Could you please confirm are you able to play the same video file in the Mac local drive? Make sure you have updated the latest utility and fimware in the unit.

Yes, the movies can be played locally, but only through iTunes. And yes, I've updated to the latest firmware version. I'm guessing it has to do with the DRM feature on the files downloaded from iTunes?

When it comes to itunes video converter free, there are are a lot in the market. However, none of them come out with a satisfactory output quality due to the encryption of latest iTunes encryption. Fortunately DRmare M4V Converter keeps updating every a few weeks. It supports to convert iTunes movies, TV shows, Extras perfectly. In additon, the converting speed is up to 20X faster. The only shortcoming is that it may not convert DVDs or videos from other sources.

iTunes Movies is under Apple’s Digital Rights Management protection, better known as DRM. You may have purchased or rented movies from iTunes, and would like to enjoy those iTunes movies somewhere instead of on iTunes. As iTunes movies are protected and encrypted, it is difficult to get through Apple’s DRM project. Perhaps you can ultilize a screen recorder to get rid of iTunes DRM, but this method not only is time-wasting, but also causes some quality loss. Here in this guide, an iTunes DRM removal or a DRM media converter is introduced for you to remove DRM from iTunes movies.

Thanks for your sharing. As a music collector, I am more interested in how to sync music from iTunes library to other devices non-apple devices.

Fortunately, this problem was completely solved by using this iTunes DRM audio converter Mac, which expertise in decrypting DRM lock from Apple Music’s tracks and recode them as multiple non-DRM formats such as MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC, M4A, M4B, etc. with 100% lossless quality and 100% complete metadata.

As I know, Apple Music was developed to compete with the raising streaming audio services such as Spotify, Amazon Unlimited, Google Play Music and so on. You can listen to the songs freely with the internet connection. But you can't copy or transfer the files elsewhere such as CD, USB, SD card for offline playback with the digital rights management protection. On the other hand, this protection prevents legal users to listen to the songs freely too.

Well, this doesn't make much sense. This iTunes Music Converter is a user-friendly streaming audio recorder. It enables you to convert protected Apple Music M4P to DRM free MP3 files in an elegant way. Compared to the average tools, it not only runs much more quickly but also has more superior audio quality.

To store iTunes purchased movies on your Apollo Cloud App, you need to remove the copyright protection because all iTunes contents are not allowed to enjoy on other places expect Apple's own ecosystem. It means that you can only use them on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iTunes, etc. However, with the help of TunesKit M4V Converter fro Windows, you can now easily get rid of this restriction and then convert them to MP4 or other common video formats without quality loss.

P.S. Now TunesKit M4V Converter is on sale at 20% off, you can get more details from its Christmas Promotion page:

Because of the DRM protection (Digital Right Protection) on iTunes, you are not allowed to download the movies from iTunes directly. As a movies lover, I am eager to keep my favorite movies on my own device such as Apollo Cloud on iOS devices. Recently, my friends recommend a great converter to me. I searched on Google and downloaded DumpMedia Apple Music Converter. I added my movies to this converter and then chose the output format which is supported by Apollo Cloud on iOS devices. After clicking the convert button, the covnersion process is finished. What I want to do is import the downloaded movies to my device. This converter saves me a lot of time and makes it possible to play my movie files on other device.

You need to opt for an iTunes DRM removal solution because iTunes movies and TV episodes are all protected by FairPlay DRM technology, which limits the playback of iTunes videos to selected Apple devices Tidal,Spotify,Youtube etc have DRM protection,so you will need Spotify Music Converter / iTunes converter /TIDAL converter etc to remove the DRM protection.

Hello, the problem that you are told that the app does not have permission to play this file type, is because both the movies and TV series in iTunes are protected by DRM technology, which limits the playing of the videos in iTunes to only the selected Apple devices. So what you have to do is to choose to delete the DRM in iTunes and send it to the apps we usually use, such as tidal, Spotify, etc YouTube also has DRM protection, so Spotify music converter / iTunes converter / tidal converter will be needed to remove DRM protection.

Spotify songs are in Ogg Vorbis format, which is DRM protected and can only be played with the Spotify app. DumpMedia Spotify Music Converter helps you remove DRM protection from Spotify songs, playlists & albums easily and allows you to download Spotify music streams to any device for offline listening.

Our platform is able to download YouTube to mp3 with absolute ease, but you don’t need another Youtube window open for all of this to work. Simply use the search function on, look for Youtube videos, and directly convert them to MP3 or any supported audio format.

It seems like you're having trouble playing movies purchased through iTunes and stored on your Apollo Cloud on iOS devices. The error message you're receiving about the app not being authorized to play the file type (m4v) might be due to DRM (Digital Rights Management) restrictions that iTunes movies typically come with.

To play these movies on your iOS devices, follow these steps:

Use the Apple TV App: Instead of using the Apollo Cloud app, try using the Apple TV app. This app is designed to play movies purchased through iTunes and is likely to have the necessary authorization to handle DRM-protected content.

Download and Stream: In the Apple TV app, find the movie you want to watch and tap the download button (cloud icon with a downward arrow) to download it to your device. If you prefer not to download it, you can also stream the movie directly from the app.

Check Authorization: Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID that was used to purchase the movies. This should ensure proper authorization to play the content.

As for the "APK MOD PikaShow" you mentioned, I strongly advise against downloading or using modified or cracked versions of apps. These versions can potentially contain harmful code, violate the terms of service of the app provider, and compromise the security of your device. It's always best to use official and legitimate sources for app downloads to ensure your safety and the integrity of your devices.

If you're looking for ways to watch movies and shows, there are plenty of legitimate streaming services available that offer a wide range of content. You can explore options like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, and more, depending on your preferences.

I hope these suggestions help you enjoy your iTunes movies on your iOS devices without any issues. If you continue to encounter problems, consider reaching out to Apple Support for further assistance.
