Hello,

I apologize if this question has already been asked on this forum but I couldn't find anything.
I have a dead Pegasus 3 R4, and I would prefer not to lose the data I have on the disks. Could anyone confirm if I remove the disks and insert them into another Pegasus 3 R4, if the RAID will be recognized immediately, or if some specific process will be required?

Thanks!

Hi Florival,

Yes, it is possible to move a RAID set from one enclosure to another and have the Volume mount.

Make sure both Pegasus units are powered down first, removing the power cables is the best way. It's best to swap slot for slot, that is, move the drives to the corresponding slot on the replacement enclosure.
