Rebuild doesn't seems to start

One of my 2TB drives went dead from my R6. I replaced the drive with 3TB, knowing it will waste 1TB and choose rebuild.

Now it's been 0% for almost 10 hours in Background activities and no indication of any action at all. Should I still wait or is there some error ?

Unit is configured as raid-6. Can I stop rebuild ?I'd like to make back up copies of most important files if possible and then try again.

Hi Matti,

Yes, you can stop rebuild and proceed to take a back up of your data and also make sure that you replace a faulty drive with compatible one to check if it rebuilds the array.

Below is the link to download the compatiblity list for Pegasus 1 series:

For any further assistance please create a web support ticket in support.promise.com or contact Promise Tech support: https://promise.com/ContactUS

Thanks..

Thank you. New drive is compatible, have replaced one before. Now I can't get prosess stopped.

Says "Failed to stop rebuild: another rebuild is pending".

I think I'll contact support.
