So basically the drive is detected, I formated it via disk utility, but Promise Utility does not show anything. Tried on a clean install too to no avail.

Thanks.

I assume that you have installed the latest driver [SR 3.0.2] and the latest Pegasus Utility [4.00.0000.09]?

That's correct Richard. Thanks for your reply.

is-la-imac:~ post$ mdls -name kMDItemVersion /Applications/Promise\ Utility.app/ kMDItemVersion = "4.00.0000.09"

Um, that is just the Utility; what about the driver?

$ kextstat | grep -v com.apple

Look for "com.promise.driver.stex"

You can look at what the Utility sees by running the command "promiseutil" from Terminal...

At the time of writing both kext's were loaded. Now they don't anymore.

edit:

I can load both kexts manually though:

But the drive wont mount and utility still gets empty.

Even when both kexts get manually loading. I feel that they must run automatically to get this working properly. I'm kinda puzzled of why this stopped working.

I would check the TB3 cable - maybe try another one, or another port.

Even uninstall - install both again.
