Promise Pegasus R6 disconnects over night

My Promise Pegaus R6 keeps disconneting (improperly) over night. I am running an iMac 5K, 27" late 2015 with OS X 10.11.6. The Pegasus is connected through HDMI. I usually don't shut the iMac down, just putting it into sleep mode. Every now an then I get the message "Promise Pegaus not properly ejected" on next morning by OS X. Sometimes nothing over weeks, then sometimes a couple of days in a row. This morning even 9 times!

I've made all updates available. Any suggestions?
