I'm temporarily shifting my photo archiving set up (theres a new born who has taken over my office !) & was hoping to run my Pegasus R6 with a MacBook Pro from late 2008.

I can't get them to communicate with each other. I read a listing of compatabilities & it seems that prior to around 2011, old MacBook Pros won't work with Pegaus units. The OS on the laptop is El Capitan.

Any suggestions..?

Hi Robert,

We are sorry for the inconvenince caused to you. If you do not have a native thunderbolt port on the system then you will not be able to access the Pegasus Volume.

Could you please go to https://support.promise.com to register the product and create a support ticket with the MAC system profiler for further investigation.

Follow the below steps to save the MAC system profiler.

Mac system profiler (Click Apple Icon > About this Mac > More info > System Report > Choose 'File' & 'Save')
