How can I attach a Pegasus 3 to a Mac Pro with only Thunderbolt 2 port? I tried the Apple Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adpator with no success.

Hi,

The adapter(thunderbolt 3 to thunderbolt 2) is the only option to connect the Pegasus3 unit to a mac machine which supports thunderbolt 2 connection. Please check if the thunderbolt cable is properly seated on both end, do try a different thunderbolt port on the Pegasus. The Blue thunderbolt indicator should be lit up just below the power button indicating a valid connection.

Thank you.

I'm having an issue with this as well, cannot get it to mount even though in system report it is showing up...Any luck on your end?

Was able to get it working by installing the driver from the site...wish that was a little more obvious, I haven't had to manually install a driver for years. Here's the link https://www.promise.com/Support/downloadcenter#Drivers

Hi,

The Pegasus3 hardware driver needs to be installed on your mac/windows machine in order to access the Pegasus3 volume.

Thank you.
