Hi
I have a bad drive, which I have swapped out, however it wont let me change the settings to "unconfigured". The red light on the on/off button is still on. The new drive seems fine, but can't rebuild it..... ON R6 raid array

Chris,
Can you unlock the Promise utility and change the drive status to "unconfigured". Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.

Hi,
I did that and it will not let me change the status. The orange power light is on.

Chris,
It looks like new array has been created using a new drive - slot 6 (Array1:No:0). You have to delete the newly created array to make the new drive status to unconfigured.
You need to delete the newly created array which has 2 TB of capapcity. Please DO NOT touch the existing array.
