Now that Apple Macs have Thunderbolt™ 5, I am seriously considering getting the Pegasus M8 instead of the Pegasus R12.
I think a YouTube video from NAB 2024 said that the Pegasus M8 would be released in late 2024, but I think that was optimistic, considering the release date of the Pegasus R12.
Is there any updated information about the release date and pricing for the Pegasus M8?

NAB 2025, another year later, anoucing the Pegasus M8, again! Very little new infomation with no indication of availability which is very dissapointing. Hopefully we can get a proper update soon on when and where to purchase.
I have already invested heavily with NVMe blades, so I hope there is a 0TB option available. Otherwise I'll just go with the Thunderbolt 5 DV Echo from Sonnettech coming out "late Q2"

I have been resposable for the purchase of over 20 Pegasus boxes for use the local film and television industry, but no more. Promise, you had you time, and now you are too late. Products from Sonnet Tech, OWC and even BMD have been on the market for some time now. Those of us that scrabled to buy NVMe blades as we saw the prices rising due the black hole of AI have found our Pegasus subtitutes. I wonder if the M8 will be available by the time NAB 2027 comes around?
