NS6700

firmware : 03.01.0000.17

I deleted and re-created my account.

I can not access the home account folder I created from my old account.

To change ownership, Root access is required. Telnet is not accessible with engmode.

How do I access the root account?

Hi Brad,

How do I access the root account?

You appear to have root access already, the convention for user prompts is that a root shell ends with a hash (#) as does your ssh login while a user shell ends in a percent (%).

I do not have any documentation for this unit, and I would not be able to give you any passwords if I did have them. Sorry.

And Kitty, I did not know there was a fork of Putty, I'll have to give it a try.
