Hello, I have a new Macbook Pro on the way and currently have a PC. Was wondering if a 12TB Pegasus 3 R4 will allow to simulatniously connect a PC and Mac at the same time and share files?
Will a 12TB Pegasus 3 R4 support Mac/PC simulatinously?

Hi Jimmy,
Aside from filesystem compatibility issues (Windows can't read hfs, OSX won't write to ntfs) this is a very bad idea. I don't think you'd be able to mount the filesystem from both computers, but if you did manage to do so, chances are pretty good that your filesystem would eventually disappear, and I mean it won't be recoverable.
Your best bet would be to reshare the filesystem from the MAC and let the windows computer mount it with SMB. This was only one computer will be writing to the filesystem.
