From a December 2021 forum post, I saw that a 32-bit driver was needed to work on the M1 MacBook Pro for the Pegasus R6. Can someone please refer me to the link to correct driver for the Pegasus2 R8 to work on the 2021 MacBook Pro M1 running Monterey OS? (I recently upgraded from 2013 MacPro "trash can" where the Pegasus was working well to the MacBook Pro.)

Thank you for your response, Gautham. I have downloaded and installed the driver for M1 Mac you provided, which installed successfully. However, I still cannot see the Promise Pegasus 2 R8 on my new MacBook Pro. The R8 is connected to my computer via USB 3, and when I was downlaoding the driver, a message on the installation screen said: "For Pegasus products that support USB interface and is connected to a USB port on your computer, a USB filter driver is required before using the Pegasus utility in macOS. Please go to Promise website (https://www.promise.com/us/Support/downloadcenter) to download and install the filter driver for macOS." I cannot locate anything called a "filter driver" on the downloads page. Any further assistance or steps required so I can see and use the R8 would be greatly appreciated! :-)

Thank you for your response. By reading documentation on the Promise support page for installing on Mac, I determined that I needed to change my security level and allow apps from Promise and now I'm able to see the R8 on my MacBook. I've been having an issue with messages saying the drives were improprerly ejected (when I did not eject), but just updated the utility software, so I'm hoping I've got it resolved. I'm trying to get my Pegasus 2 R8 to work on a Mac Studio. I dowloaded the two files noted above, filter and the utility, followed the instructions so that the Secure Boot is "Reduced Security" and allows all kernel extensions. I installed the utility, and PromiseUSBFilter appears in System Information/Software/Extensions (version 1.0.5) and it shows that it's loaded. The Promise Utility Preferences show the port at 8080, the Set Notification Center Event Level as "Minor" and the Notification Poling Interval at 30 seconds, which I assume is the default. However, I still can't see it mounted. The Pegasus 2 R8 drive is running and shuts down when I shut down the Mac Studio, but yet I can't see it mounted. I note that the extension Promist STEX (version 6.2.13) is listed in System Information under software extensions, but it's not loaded. Should it be loaded and, if so, I do I get it loaded? I also note that the previous instructions on this thread were for a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip. Is there a different process, different filter/utility, and/or another setting in preferences that apply to the Mac Studio with the M1 chip?

The filter is to be installed only when you are connecting the unit to a USB port and not the Thunderbolt.
Try the below driver and check if it works,

I have a new Macbook Pro M1Max using Monteray. I have successfully reduced the security, Removed, installed the latest utility for Mac (3.4.14), and installed the latest driver (3.4.16) but I still cannot see my Pegasus 2 R8. I am not sure how to proceed. Any tips? I appreciate the help.
