80TB sync times

Swapped out 3TB drives for Seagate 10TB in my R8 set to RAID6. Sync is running at 1%/hour. Sync resources set to high. Anyone else have experience w 80TB? My other 8x4 R2 took about a day to complete, at this rate the 80TB will be done in over 3 days.

Do I need to initialize after sync complete?

Hi Watson,

Your drives are 3x as large and the sync looks to take about 3x as long, seems reasonable.

If the drives are new I would not bother with an init, but if you want to make sure things are clean, you can do a quick init. You can do a quick init while the sync iss running or after.
