What is the limitation of disk that can be use with this type of array? I am using FreeBSD currently I have 1TB disk but would like to upgrade to 3TB or 4TB if the device can handle that size?

3TB SAS - not SATA - drives are supported with the last firmware release.
Please refer to the x10 Compatibilty List for qualified drive models.
