Hello Albert Soubeyran,
You will need a RJ11 to DB9 serial cable, do you have a Promise Serial cable ? Also for further support I request you to create a support case via support.promise.com.

Hi Albert,
The J830s is a JBOD, not a raidhead. There is no configuration. When you attach it to your computer with a SAS card, you will see all the disks you have installed in the JBOD.

Good evening, I saw on the internet that there is a Promise rj11 / db9 cord to connect to the jbod j830s with the WEBPAM Pro software, then I order it on the promise .com support ?? Regards, Albert

Hi Albert,
WebPAM is not abailable for the J830s, WebPAM is a manegement tool for a raidhead, like the VTrak E830f.
And as said previusly, there is nothing to configure in a JBOD. The serial cable will work, you'll be able to see the enclosure status and link status on the phys, nothing more.
