Upgrade Hardware

Hello, I have multiple VessJOB 1840's that I need to start thinking about upgrading.  Can someone please tell me what item/product is a replacemenet for an 1840?  I do not need RAID, just JBOD.  I would also like to know what controller card to purchase to connect the box to that will work in Red Hat Enterprise 8 & 9.

Hi Mike,

The current version of the Vess JBOD is the Vess J3000.

The Vess JBOD has no controller per se, it has a SAS connected IO module (IOM). As long as your server has a working SAS HBA, you should see the disks after you connect the JBOD.
