Hello,
I have a Mac and a Pegasus2 that are both around 10 years old.
If I purchase a new Pegasus32 can I plug it into the Mac and move all the files over from the old Pegasus2 to the new Pegasus32?
thanks

Hi,
yes, you can connect a 2nd Pegasus device to your Mac, either directly on a separate Thunderbolt port or daisy chained connected to your other Pegasus device, it will show up as a 2nd drive on your Mac.
You will need an Apple Thunderbolt 2 > 3 adapter cable however to connect the USB-C type Thunderbolt3 port of the Pegasus32 model to the Thunderbolt2 type connections on your Mac / Pegasus device.
Thank you.
The adapter would be to daisy chain correct? If I was just going to plug the Pegasus32 directly into the Mac I could use the included USB-C to USB-C.
The main reason I am doing this is to transfer everything from an old Pegasus that is failing to the new one.
The Mac has USB-C and currently using an adapter on the Pegasus2 to go from thunderbolt cable into the Mac.
My bad, I assumed your 10 year old Mac came with TB2 ports.
You can ofcourse connect the Pegasus32 directly to any TB3 port and connect your Pegasus2 device with the current adapter either to the new Pegasus unit or directly to your host Mac.
