is there anyway to connect my promise pegasus drives to TRUENAS? i use proxmox running a TrueNAS VM. i use an apple thunderboly to usbC adaptor plugged into a 10Gbs 3.0 or 3.2 port i dont remember. i set all the drives to passthrough but the drives just shutdown imidiatly after power on (10 seconds ish, long enough for thedrives to initialize.) is there anyway to connect the enclosure to TrueNAS? Because I would love to reuse the nice enclosure

The Pegasus2 is a Thunderbolt device, it will not work when connected to a USB 3.x port.
Both Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.1/3.2 use the USB-C connector, this causes some confusion. But your computer port needs to support Thunderbolt for the Pegasus to operate.
Most modern Macs support Thunderbolt but few modern PCs do, most PCs only support USB x.x
