Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2

Hello everyone. 

I just got a new Promise Pegasus 3, 24 TB. 

As you already know this is a usb-c raid, so the worflow is with computers that have that port. 

Right now I'm using a new MacbookPro, so I have no trouble. 

I would like to try it on my iMac though. 

Is there any way I can use it with my Thunderbolt 2 Port on my iMac? Without losing that much of transfer speed.

Hi Alberto,

The transfer speed of a thunderbolt 2 port is 20Gb/s, so if you switch the Pegasus unit from your new MacBook Pro to your iMac the speed will be reduced to half.
