Hi there, has anybody found how to troubleshoot this issue? My M4 MBP doesn't see the Pegasus 2R6, despite the all the updates downloaded from the promise site. Tks if you can help

Hi Alex,

as replied to your other post in different thread, please first check the driver installation status on your Mac.

Open a Terminal window and copy/paste below command and post the outcome here:

systemextensionsctl list | grep promise

The outcome should read [activated enabled] for driver 21.1.0

Kind regards,

Frank

Hi Frank,

I also need help with my Pegasus M4 on a Mac Studio M3 Ultra. After entering the command in the terminal, I see this, but the drive still isn't mounting.

com.promise.driverkit.pegasuspro (22.0.2/1)
com.promise.driverkit.pegasuspro [activated enabled]

Thanks
Joerg

Hi Joerg,

I also just replied in the support ticket you have open.
The driver version 22.0.2 is a PegasusPro device driver, for the M4 you can install driver version 21.1.0
https://www.promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=7015

Kind regards,

Frank

Thanks Frank. I resolved the issue with the Promise Pegasus2 R6. The Mac wasn’t recognizing it because the correct driver wasn’t installed, and macOS was silently blocking the older kext. After installing the proper Promise driver and utility, and authorizing the kext, the RAID was immediately detected and the Pegasus2 started working normally again. New OS Tahoe was making this issue. Have a nice day.
