Hi guys, I have a Pegasus2 R4 with existing drives but are almost full. I have a large job coming up soon in which I need more room. We would like to purchase a 3TB drive for this specific client and keep all their files and assets on. Can we simply remove one existing drive and replace it with a new one for this purpose, or are there better ways to deal with this situation?

Hi Matthew,
We always recommend you to take backup of whole data then Shutdown the Pegasus unit and Remove & Mark the drive from slot 1 to 4 then insert new drive PD1 to PD4 and restore the data to the new drive. If you still would like access data from the existing drive, make sure shutdown the unit, insert all the existing drive and you ll be able access your old data.
Note : Do not pull the drive out when the unit turned on.
Thanks
