Split 4 Drives into 2 - Pegasus2 R4

I'm considering purchasing the Pegasus2 R4

I'm curious splitting the 4 drives into 2 drives

- 1 "StorageHD" drive would store files (Raid 1)

- 1 "TimeMachine drive would be configured for TimeMachine to backup macOS and the "StorageHD" (Raid 1)

Can this be done with this model?

Is there a better way to achieve this?

Yes, it is possible to create two different RAID 1 arrays with two drives in the Pegasus R4 unit.
