Thank you. So, Apollo does not help to reduce storage size on the phone. That is not the idea of cloud. Cloud is not about synching, cloud is about remote-storage with remote access.
Thanks for your help, I mainly wanted to have the appollo to have a solution of storage on my devices and still be able to access all photos.
So, I can "move" all photos to Appollo (switch camera-roll on, wait until in sync, than disable the roll and than delete all photos on the iphone. However, each new foto will NOT be transferred to the Apollo without manual action. Right?
I DO NOT SEE ANY VALID USE CASE FOR THAT AT ALL. THE BACKUP FUNCTIONALITY OF IPHONE WITH ITUNES DOES EXACTLY THE SAME.
Even worse. If I open the Apollo APP on the iphone and do access one of those synched fotos, the APP will access the foto via internet by connecting to my Apollo????? That is really incredibly stupid, given the fact, that all Fotos are still on the phone anyway. I suppose, if I mark one of those fotos, that still reside on my phone, as a "favourite" in the Apollo APP and than it is downloaded into the Apollo APP???? That's getting now more absurd.
Please tell me I am wrong:-)
Haha, even more funny. It is not even a Sync. It is a pure Copy one way. If I delete fotos on the iphone or if I delete a photo on the Apollo cloud, this "delete" is not carried out on the other device. That means, totally inconsistent status after a while.
