SmartStor NS6700 WebPAM PROe web interface variations from manual

Hi,

I have a NS6700 device which I've discovered has a WebPAM PROe interface which does not match what is shown in the manual. I am running the latest firmware V03.01.0000.17 (2015/05/08).

Specifically I want to create schedules for turning the device on/off and yet the Power options do not exist in my web admin interface (I only see three options - Media Patrol, Redundancy Check, Spare Check). When I review the documentation, the add schedule feature should offer 5 options, which includes the Power On and Power Off schedule.

Why would my NS6700's WebPAM PROe version be missing these features and how can I address this problem?

Hi Gregory,

 

SmartNAVI can be the utility to power on NAS by LAN, please make sure you have installed latest version V1.9.0.9 and also please make sure you have compatible version of OS and Browser which has the options.

Thank you for your quick reply Dinesh. I do have SmartNAVI V1.9.0.9 installed and I cannot see any option to control power on/off.

When I click on the NS6700 in the SmartNAVI screen I get the following message:

If I am already running the latest version ov SmartNAVI (which I again downloaded and installed from your website today), how can I upgrade it to meet the demand of the message displayed?

Please uninstall the SmartNAVI and use the link below to download the latest version and check.

If it is still the same then please create a web support ticket in support.promise.com by registering the product with the unit serial number.
