We are having some initial Transfer issues from our NAS to our Mac Workstations using the Sanlink2 Devices so l though l would do a direct connect test between two mac workstations running High Sierra..  Both macs connect via there thunderbolt connection to the sanlink2 and then via a cat6a between the Sanlink2 adapters..  Doing a copy between the workstations was iniitally giving me around 300MB/s but then it drops to around 100MB/s for the remainder of the Transfer..  Should be at least up around 800-900MB/s realistically..  Would anybody have any ideas ?  why l am seeing slow rates ?  Thunderbolt Cable ? tweaking of local sysctl.conf file ? Both machines are imacs with Core i7 Processors..

sanlink driver in use is the : 1.8.2
