Thank you!

Bascially Promise won't tell you this because they want you to fork out 1000s of dollars to buy there new model.

What I would do is find out the model number and find the part on ebay.

I found this one it took me all of 2 seconds to find it, I am sure there are other suppliers

but un like promise I actually help people.

Hello W Ko,

The power supply used in the Pegasus unit is not field-replaceable. Also this is an EOSL unit please refer to below link,

https://www.promise.com/Support/warranty/EOSL

I would recommend you to upgrade to the newest version of the Pegasus series and you could still use the old drives on the new unit and have access to data.

They stopped supporting the old version of the software and hardware, which is very unfair to the purchaser. he only hope that you can upgrade to the new model of the machine as soon as possible.

No vendor updates the firmware or software for EOL products.

But Pegasus drivers and the Pegasus Utility are backwards compatible with older Pegasus models.

Go to the Pegasus32 downloads page and download the latest driver and Pegasus Utility and it will work even with your Pegasus 1. The latest driver is also compatible with both M1 and Intel MACs.
