Hi Michael,
Please follow the below mentioned steps.
1. Open promise utility - Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.
2. Click Wizard option on menus -> Click -> Automatic option -> Click -> Submit
your logical drives are always formatted automatically.

I have unlocked and the only option in the wizard is the Advanced
It does say under Wizard
"There is only passthrudisk in your system"

You have to change all the drives to unconfigured state and create an RAID5 setup using automatic option.
- Open Promise Utility,
- Check under physical drive tab, the status of the inserted drives, it will be 'Pass-Thru', click on 'settings' for the Physical drive and change it from 'PassThru' to 'Unconfigured' and CONFIRM it.

The synchronization process will take several hours to gets completed. Please make sure to set the background synchronization rate is high.
- Open Promise Utility -> Click Background activities -> Click Settings -> Change the rate to "High" and save it.

Just started the Raid 5 after all the above and the Osx said It cannot recoginise the disk and do I want to inilisalize it

It seems that Volume is visible in the host machine. Could be drive error in the unit needs to be analyzed complete subsystem report in order to find out the exact issue. Please call technical support at 408-228-1500 or reach out through support case at https://support.promise.com.
Below are the steps to save the logs
Open the promise utility then unlock the utility
Click on subsystem information in the pegasus utility
Then click on save service report.
