Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to reformat a new Pegasus 2 R6 with 6 x 3To Seagate.

Something weird was on the information of the physical drive in Promise Utility before i create a disk array.

Some Seagate drive tell me that the drive information is 3Gb/s and not 6Gb/s. And when i reboot the Promise Pegasus, it changes to another drive? (Screen shot)

Do someone have information/explanation on this? Do i still made the Raid 5 Format?

Thanks you all,

Hi Alex,

The Seagate HDD ST3000DM001 model drives comes with SATA 6.0Gb/s interface. It is not recommended to create an array using different interface drive because you will get performance issue. But you can create separate array using both drives and LD have to be separate.

Thank you.
