I have just updated to macOS Sierra 10.12.4 and now my Promise Pegasus R6 is not showing in my Devices list in Finder. It is visible in the Disk Utility. The only way I can get to see all my files on the R6 is to unplug the Thunderbolt cable from the rear of the MAC (not the rear of the R6) and put it back in again. Everything works then. How do I get around this?

Could you please power on the mac machine first and then power on the Promise Pegasus R6 unit once the mac is booted completely?
Ray,
I had this last week and had success with this procedure:
- Disconnect the R6 from your Mac.
- Use the free app “AppCleaner” to remove the Promise Utility from your Mac.
- Reboot Mac
- Install the latest Promise Utility again.
With the R6 power cord removed, un-latch the six drives and pull them out an inch (not necessary to remove them from the enclosure).
- Connect the R6 power.
- Connect the Thunderbolt cable to your Mac.
- Start the Promise Utility, and check to see if the enclosure is visible and reporting no drives.
If the Utility does see the Pegasus, turn the power off and disconnect the TB cable, put the six drives back in the enclosure, connect the power and plug the TB cable back in.
Check Finder and Devices to see if the R6 is present.
Please update the thread on the results.
Cheers, Richard
