In the process of raiding my Pegasus 2 R4, I was doing speed tests w/ Blackmagic and I was getting pretty slow read/write speeds for two brand new Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB drives. Upon further investigation, in the Promise Utility the drives are only read as SATA 3Gb/s instead of SATA 6Gb/s. I put those same 2 drives in a diiferent R4 & they correctly came up as 6Gb/s. I've tried updating the firmware & doing a factory reset, no dice. Promise Support noticed that the TRIM is on for the R4 only reading 3Gbs. I tried disabling TRIM with ctrl -a mod -s "trim=disable" via Terminal and that didn't work either. Any suggestions? I've tried downgrading firmware as well as using Mac's sudo command and that hasn't worked either. Please help :)
