Hi Phillip,

OK, PD4 is possibly stale, so let's try this.

Open a terminal and enter promiseutil to open the CLI.

Enter the following commands.

phydrv -a online -p 1
phydrv -a online -p 2
phydrv -a online -p 3

Do not online PD4.

The Volume should mount at this point.

Please take a new service report and upload it.

Hi phillip,

Apparently you have the wrong Promise Utility installed. Be advised that the Promise Utility Pro does not have the command line utility that is needed here. Please install this Promise Utility.

Hi phillip,

OK, need to start a rebuild to PD4. Please use this command.

rb -a start -d 0 -s 5 -p 4

If you get an error that the array is incomplete, restart the Pegasus and run the command again.

If it still errors out, post it here.

Hi Phillip,

do i maybe have to put i phydrv -a online -p 4 for the 4th drive now red?

Don't do this.

Or rather, do this only if you want to destroy your data.

Error (0x49888202): the array is incomplete

I already mentioned what to do in this case.

  • If you get an error that the array is incomplete, restart the Pegasus and run the command again.
  • If it still errors out, post what happened here.

Probably you should remove the Thunderbolt cable, remove the Pegasus power cable, wait 30 seconds, plug in the power cable, wait till the Pegasus boots, then plug in the TB cable.

Hi phillip,

A rebuild shoud be running now. As for how long it will take, I can't say, but most likely it will finish sometime tomorrow, depending on what time zone you are in. Everything should be blue when the rebuild finishes.

Please don't let your mac sleep or the rebuild will stop until the mac wakes.

Also, you should be able to see the progress in Promise Utility, there is a blue Background Tasks button in the upper right hand corner, you should be able to see the progress there.

Ok

I don't have the utility running

Launch it?

I'll let it run!
