Hi July,
The Product Manual shows how to update the firmware, and lots more.

How i can reset administrator password in console and in web?
The product manual shows how to do this as well in WebPAM.
From the CLI you'll need to use the password command.
administrator@cli> password -t mgmt
administrator@cli> New password:******
administrator@cli> Retype password:******
I do not know the password that is now set. How do I reset it without logging into cli?

Hi July,
I do not know the password that is now set.
It would have helped if you had stated this first.
This is a link to a password reset OPAS, instructions for use follow.
https://apollocloud.promise.com/share/v3/ef6egILGSU0jzqlZnlbOKrTH8I8S3tvh
0. Power up the Vess R2600 and wait till it has fully booted.
1. Put the attached OPAS file in USB flash drive (USB flash must be FAT or FAT32) top folder, do notunzip the OPAS file. 2. Insert USB flash drive into front panel first USB slot. 3. After insert USB flash drive, the buzzer will sound. 4. When the buzzer stops, the VR2K administrator password has been reset to the default 'password'. 5. Remove USB flash drive.
Please note that the filename must start with a capital 'O', in case it gets downloaded as lower case.
Then you can login to WebPAM and the product manual shows you how to update the firmware.
You can download the latest firmware from https://www.promise.com/us/Support.
Biiig thanks.

Thats all boot controller. WebPAM not start.
Hi July,
It looks like the flash on the controller has gone bad. That controller can't be used.
If you have 2 controllers as the part number suggests, try booting single controller with each controller seperately to see if one of the controllers is good. Be sure to leave the other controller in the slot (but unplugged) or all the cooling air will go through the empty slot and the drives and controller won't be cooled.
Can I copy a working OS USB to a problematic flash?
Hi July,
Can I copy a working OS USB to a problematic flash?
No, the flash is bad. Also, the controller's flash memory is not in a USB drive.
