I have a five-year old R4 I use for backups and storing other archived data. I have replaced several faulty drives over the years with no real issue, just hot-swaped the drives, allow it to re-build and move on. This time a drive went out and I removed it, and as I was fitting the new/replacement drive, another adjacent drive went down. Now my mac does not even recognize the R4 as an external drive that can be mounted. Are all my backups and data gone?
