Promise3 Pegasus R4 not connecting to PC

Hey I've got an issue with my Pegasus R4 not connecting to my Dell XPS. It's been working fine, but after adobe crashed on a project it wouldn't recognise the R4 at all. not with or without the drives in it.

the thunderbolt light stays blue, the power light stays orange, and the unit stays on with it's fans whirring, but pegasus utility doesn't recognise that there is anything connected. It's really urgent and it's freaking me out.

Hi Mark, 

Please follow the below and see if it helps

- Turn off the unit, swap the thunderbolt cable ends (may be you can use the secondary thunderbolt port on the unit),turn on the unit and check if it is detected and you are able to access the utility.

- If possible please try with a different Thunderbolt cable and different mac and see if it helps.

already switched ends of cable (multiple times) no response.  & dont have another cable here to try
