I am using an iMac running 10.14.6 and trying to run Promise Utility 4.02.0000.21. The utility looks like it starts but no window ever appears. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the utility with no luck. I see several others with similar problems. Is there a solution for this?

I tried, but I still cannot access the Promise, it is showing as connected to the thunderbolt in systems report, thats as near as I can get to it.

This has been weeks, Im very frustrated, not being a computer tech expert, I need help, where do i go next?.Oh yes i opened a support case, but cannot access the info they wanted & cannot reply to them.

Im using MacOS Mojave, & its also telling me this is a 32-bit technology & infuture will need to be 64-bit, does anyone know if

the Promise tech team will be updating to 64-bit, or is my current problem going to roll on to something bigger?

I have the same issue.

Looking under the finder utility package, I have found under the ChangePP heading:_

"Could not reliably determine the servers name, using 10.1.1.186 for Servername

.....

Syntax error on line 39 of /Applications/Promise Utility.app/Contents/Resources/apache2/conf/httpd.conf:

Port must be Specified

logout"

So is this my error, Promise does not have the Mac servername?,

What do I do?

When the Promise Utility quit working on my iMac, I was still able to access my files on my Pegasus 3.  Apparently, during the process of fixing that problem, my Mac lost it's connection with the Pegasus.  Support advised me to go into Terminal and run promiseutil . I did and it showed no drives attached. That's when I realized that it was no longer showing up in Finder. I then tried to power off the Pegasus but the blue light power button wouldn't work. I unplugged the AC power and replugged it. The Pegasus reappeared in Finder and now the Promise Utility works fine.
