Hi Aldy,

From the attached screenshot I could see the unit is still running on old firmware version 5.04.0000.36 and in case if there is any drive issues then the Promise utility may not allow to complete the update.

We can try to update the latest verison manually or without drives, Please contact Promise Tech support for further assistance on this.

Thanks..

Hi Dinesh, thanks for your reply.  Acording to the Diagnostic, all 4 drives status is Healty. in good condition. And i didnt find any performance issue.

Is there any other way i can check the disk issues?

I did tried updating manually, same result. but I havent tried updating without Drives. Is it possible?

Thanks!

Hi Aldy,

Please update the firmware using the below instructions and let us know if it worked.

- Unmount the volume

- Shutdown the pegasus

- Mark and Remove all the drives from the unit

- Turn ON the unit without the drives

- Open Promise Utility and Unlock it.

- Click on promise utility ( near the Apple Icon)-> Check for updates.

- It would prompt for updating the firmware, update the firmware.

- After the update, please shutdown the unit and re-insert all the drives.

Thank you !

Hello,

I have the exact same problem and I tried the recipe suggested by Kannan. It does not work.

The correct help (manual installation from CLI) can be found here:
