We have a g-speed thunderbolt 3 raid which we would like to work under linux. Does anybody have experience with this? Ideally we would require the source code for the promise.stex driver which we could install on the linux box.

We found the driver as promise supertrak ex although the supported kernel versions are too old (2.4) and we need kernel > 4.13.

Hi Jacques,
The stex driver has been part of the standard kernel since 2.6.
I just checked Fedora 26 x86_64, kernel 4.11.8-300.fc26.x86_64 and the stex drives is right where it should be in /lib/modules.../drivers/scsi. It should also be part of any newer builds. But I'm afraid that any of the Promise Utilities like WebPAM won't work under a 4.x kernel. But you can use the BIOS for management when needed.
And in different news Linus Torvold has admitted that he's been a jerk and he says he's going to seek counseling.
