Hy I have a big problem
As soon as I connect my Promise Pegasus2 R8 to my Macbook Apple M1 Max, the whole system shuts off and the computer reboots. This happens since the update to OSX Venura, before it was working fine.
When the computer restarted, if first does not recongnise the drive, I unplug and re-plug it and then it crashes again. And so on. Please help.

The same thing is happening to me. I have gone through the process of installing the latest driver (R_MacDrv_V6.2.17-3) and whilst it is showing up in System Information, under the loaded column it says "No".
I have followed the instructions and am unsure what I'm doing wrong.
I too have a Pegasus 2 R8 drive that I'm trying to connect to my Mac Studio M1 Max.

In the end it was a driver issue, I had a old version installed and did not find the correct one for M1, I guess that caused the kernel panik.
I can do that, but just to say, in the promise utility, the RAID does not appear anymore.
Kindly register the unit using the serial number by logging into support.promise.com and open a web support ticket with the service report of the unit attached so we could check further.
Steps to save the subsystem report:
1) Open Promise Utility.
2) Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.
3) Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.
4) Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it to the case.
