Hi guys,

My work Promise Pegasus 2 R8 driver is not installing on my M1 Max Mac Studio on Ventura 13.0.1. I have tried installing the driver R_MacDrv_V6_2_17-3 AND R_MacDrv_V6_2_16 with no luck.

I have followed the instructions perfectly, and it claims to be installed, however in System information, under the loaded column it still says "No", rather than "Yes".

The drive was loaded with footage on a Mac Mini in Monterey, whereas my Mac is on Ventura. Might this have anything to do with it?

Kindly delete the existing Promise utility and the driver from /library/Extension folder, PromiseSTEX file.

Then use below link to download the driver and Promise utility:

For utility:

https://www.promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=6918

For driver:

https://www.promise.com/DownloadFile.aspx?DownloadFileUID=6963

Firstly, install the driver and check whether the volume got mounted or not.

If issue remains, kindly register the unit using the serial number by logging into support.promise.com and open a web support ticket with the service report of the unit attached so we could check further.

Steps to save the subsystem report:

1) Open Promise Utility.

2) Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.

3) Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.

4) Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it to the case.

Below is the Promise KB link to attach report in CRM:
