Pegasus3 r8 first crashed OS 10.12.6 on late '13 Mac Pro over and over, now doesn't mount

Promise Utility version 4.00.0000.06 (C03) says Firmware version b 5.04.0000.17.  My Pegasus2 r8 is working flawlessly, but it doesn't recognize the P3.  Have tried re-seating the computer, the 3 to 2 Thunderbolt adaptor and the P3.

yes, "R_MacDrv_V6.2.9" (with a restart)

Ok. Is the unit is detected under mac system profiler? Please create a support case at https://support.promise.com/ to work on this issue.

I tried a new Thunderbolt cable and the P3 mounted-- will see if the crashing stops.....
