Pegasus2 R8 Replace Drive with different model

Currently my R8 is filled with Toshiba DT01ACA300 Drives

 

I know that in the past, you should always replace like for like, but buying therse old drives is getting hard.

Can I replace it wil any 3TB Drive

Hi Paul,

Yes, you can replace with any 3TB drives.

Hi Ranjith

Thats a very short list of drives, for 3TB drives, only the ST3000DM001 and DT01ACA300 are supported.

To confirm, any 3TB drive should work, but only the ST3000DM001 and DT01ACA300 have been verified by Priomise. Is that correct?
