Pegasus2 R8 - 8x4tb drives: Multiple sets of hdds?

Hello,

So we currently have 2 units of Pegasus2 R8, with 8x4tb drives in them. We used to run NAS systems with multiple sets of hdd´s. I´m trying to find out if this is possible with the R8´s? Meaning, I would dismount all 8 drives at one time, and put 8 fresh ones in? Will I loose my information on the original drives?

Thankful for help regarding this. I dont wanna loose 30tb of data.

Hi Dan,

Yes, you can do that.You won't loose data in those original 8 drives.

We don't suggest to do that, because this is not original design to use Pegasus with multiple sets of HDD.
