I have a Pegasus2 R6 that will turn on fully (power light goes from amber to blue), then after approximately five seconds, turns off (power goes from blue to amber, clicks three times then turns off). This happens independantly of any hard drives or Thunderbolt cable plugged into the unit.

Please make sure that the Thunderbolt connections are proper. The Pegasus 2 units will not stay ON if the Thunderbolt connections are not established.
If possible, change the Thunderbolt port on the MAC and use the secondary port in the Pegasus . You can also try with a new cable if you have.

It works. Once I plugged in an actual data-rated Thunderbolt (didn't know there was such a thing) it worked fine. Thank you for all your help.
