My Pegasus suddenly will not turn off and shows an orange light. Pressing the power button does nothing. I am hesitant to pull the power plug. Restarting my computer is not helping. I am running 10.13.6 Any suggestions?

Hi Marina. I have the same problem. I'm running 10.13.4. I have just recevied it. The Pegasus is brand new. Orange light. No icon on my desktop. Did you fix it ?

Hi,

If the Pegasus is not responding, we have to hard reboot the unit by unplugging the power. If the volume is mounted, you can eject it before pulling the power.

Once the unit is OFF, wait for a minute and connect the power back again. If the unit boots up fine, please save the service report using below steps and open a case @ https://support.promise.com with the report.

We will review the logs to see if there are any events causing this .

Steps to save the Report:

1) Open Promise Utility.

2) Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.

3) Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.

4) Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it to the case.

Thanks !
