Pegasus2 R4 freezes Finder

Quite infrequently, maybe every week ±, I get a condition where my Pegasus2 R4 will freeze the Finder. The only way to get out of the freeze is to pull the ThunderBolt cable from the back of the Pegasus, shutdown the computer, power down the Pegasus, reboot the system with the Pegasus connected.  Then it's fine for a week or three again.

Promise Utility: 4.02.0000.21
Revision #: B3
Firmware Version: 5.04.0000.62

It appears to coincide with entries in the NVRAM Events Log like:
500   PD 2   0x000D0003   Info     April 24, 2019 22:52:03   Physical Disk has been reset
499   PD 2   0x000D0011   Minor   April 24, 2019 22:52:02   Command times out on physical disk

It's not always PD2, it happens on all 4 physical disks, with long times 1 - 2 weeks between events

I'm running Seagate ST4000DM000-1F21 Drives

Mac Pro (Late 2013) with Mojave up to date.

Any ideas how to stop this?

peace,
Grant
