I believe the current driver/firmware both installed.    Device does not turn off, simply has orange light on the status button (front).    Unplugging thunderbolt cable and re-inserting allows it to reinstall.

QUESTION - attaching file does not work - service report saves as html but error mssg says "file ext not allowed".   How do I attach Service Report?

Help would be MUCH appreciated.

Using a recent Mac Mini.

Thank you!

Hi Brad,

Please visit https://support.promise.com/ and open a case with the Terminal report .

We will advise you on how to proceed.

Thanks !

I followed the instructions and created a service report via Terminal.  I saved as an rtf file.

Received the same error message, "file extension not allowed"    I verified that it is a rich text file.

My R4 ejected again last night.

thank you

Hi Brad,

Can you try the instructions here?

This ones uses terminal instead.
