One of our Pegasus 2 R8 will shut itself off after turning on. When I press power button or plug in the power cord, it would lit up, does its flickering and turn off itself. We need to recover 1 to 2 TB video editing files.
I swapped the power supply with a working one but it keeps doing the same thing.
Can you guy tell me what's going on with this device?

Yes, I did solve the problem. All I had to do was download the Pegasus 2 Utility for Mac. You can find the utilitie in Download section of this website. I just run the utitile on the Mac before I connect it and it works like a charm.

Please make sure the Pegasus is connected to a regular Thunderbolt port on your mac. It will not stay on for more than 15 to 20seconds if the Thunderbolt cable is disconnected.
You can also try the below steps and see if it helps:
- Turn off the unit, swap the thunderbolt cable ends (may be you can use the secondary thunderbolt port on the unit) turn on the unit and check.
- If possible please try with a different Thunderbolt cable and different mac.
