Can anyone direct me to what driver, utility, and firmware to install - I have tried everything but cannot get the drive to mount. I know the drive is working - but am unable to understand what software is needed for macbook to recognize the drive.

I have:

  1. Allowed user management of kernel extensions from identified developers.
  2. installed Pegasus DEXT Driver V21.1.0
  3. allowed extension to operate (permissions in systems settings > general > login + extensions)
  4. installed R Promise Utility 406000001

however the promise utility does not seem to allow me to do anything - only look at basic settings and update the utility. I therefor cannot update the firmware to R SI 504000061

thanks,

Daniel

I have followed the trouble shooting guide

power and thunderbolt connection all fine

driver is installed and enabled, and confirmed this according to nested set of troubleshooting articles

however pegasus still not showing up in disk utility (not just not mounted, but not recognized at all)

Hi Daniel,

Does the Pegasus power on and do the front panel LEDs all turn blue?

Can you describe your Mac, is it Intel or Apple Silicon?
