Pegasus R6 mounts only if it's been turned off for a while (more than 15-30 minutes).

OSX finder can't read contents if drive has been on for more than an hour.

I'm running OS X 10.9.5 and can't upgrade.

Could this be a hardware issue? Is there a driver for OSX 10.9.5 that I can try to see if it fixes it?
