Hi there,

Well today we encountered a very strange issue with our R6 unit.
In the process of rebuilding another unit attached (R4 Pegasus) we had to restart the computer.

On restart the R6 Pegasus would not mount, we eventually worked out that all disks were appearing ok through the array however the logical drive was missing completely and hence not being able to mount the volume.

Is there a way to reciver the data somehow, or recreate a new logical volume that provides access to the drives?

Any suggestions, welcome.

Cheers

Hi Andrew,

We could recommend you to register yourself as a user @ https://support.promise.com and open a case with Service report to analyse the issue.

Steps to save the subsystem report :

1) Open Promise Utility.

2) Click subsystem information icon on the top of the window.

3) Click the lock symbol on the left bottom corner of the screen to unlock the utility.

4) Click on save service report button to save the subsystem report and attach it to the case.

Thanks !
